Hi

My name is Mary and I am a 73 yr.old senior. In April of this year I had to put my 14 year old Spring , Penny , down. I had her since she was born and on that day a part of me died with her.

I would like to rescue a Springer to love and to be a companion for me. My home has a void in it since Penny had to leave. I would be happy to have one to love, take for walks and for rides in the car. I am on a fixed income so I would need some info on how to go about getting another dog and the procedures to go through.

Please let me know what to do.

P.S. I have a male cat who is 14 also.

we have a rescue springer spaniel who is about 6years old she is the perfect pet at home she also loves to sit in the car she thinks she is a driver she is also happy sitting in the back (we have a dog guard in our estate car)with the boot lid open but as soon as you close it we start barking
any ideas how we can overcome this would be very much appreciated

we adopted charley about 9 years ago from you when she was about 8 months old, we have had a fantastic time and she has been the most loyal of dogs, unfortunately she was affected by a growth in her spine and we had to take the difficult decision this week and she was put to sleep on tuesday evening.

i just wanted to say how grateful we are to having 9 fantastic years and so sorry it was not longer

if you have any suitable young girl dogs coming in, please keep us in mind
