Hi Yap Charlie.
Wow three years time fly's. You came to me one scared little Springer. Growled at everyone
I thought this little boy is here to stay. Then your lovely new Mummy saw you and it was love at first sight for both of you. I am very proud of you Charlie. Love Auntie Barbara. X
Dear Margaret.
Thank you for keeping in-touch and letting us know how Charlie has come on leeps and bounds since you adopted him. You have done a great job with your little man.
Kind regards

We are interested in rehoming a spaniel. We have 2 children aged 7 and 8 and sometimes friends and family visit who are roughly the same age. We dont have any other pets at the moment. The dog wouldnt be left for any length of time as i only work part time and tend to work around my husbands shifts. We have had a Brittany Spaniel before but sadly he got cancer and passed away. We have a garden that is fenced and live near 2 large parks so the dog would get plenty of exercise. We would prefer a dog but not too bothered about his age. We would be able to travel to visit a dog if need be. Our phone number is 01228 532312 and our mobiles are07846806584 lisa or 07533731435 chris. Many thanks.

Nearly three years ago, aged three Charlie came to stay and I really cannot thank you enough for allowing us to adopt my boy. We will be away for his exact gotcha day which is why I am posting this today. From being a shy boy who wet himself and growled from as far away as he could get every time he saw a child and was scared of many men, I now have a boy who loves to play footie with my niece's boy and will run all afternoon with him (however he still doesn't stroke him unless I am there) plus a lad who has managed to stay dry for a full day's barbecue at my nephew's and he made several first moves to be friends with men and child alike. He is still at his happiest at home and running in the fields and on the sands with his three sisters plus swimming with Callie and Jessie.
Charlie's progress has probably been slow against many others' but I am so proud of him. He has become an easier doggie to be with as I feel now I can take him any where without being scared he'll wet someone's carpets. He has even been good with a male vet who was absolutely brilliant with him!
Happy Gotcha day my big guy.We will be celebrating on our favourite beach on your 6th birthday. Lots of licks for Aunty Barbara and her doggies in particular and hugs for Uncle Paul, Aunty Wendy and Uncle Glynn. :)

Hello there Springer Rescue - just to let you all know that Buzz has settled in brilliantly with us in Shropshire. He is the loveliest dog, and has really made himself the centre of the family. He has worked really hard on his training, and responds very well to hand signals. We all love him to bits, and can't imagine how we had a dog-shaped hole in our lives for so long. Thanks again for allowing us to adopt Buzz - he has made us all very happy. The Jones Family, North Shropshire.

Hi
I have often looked on your website and thought that when I lost one of my Springers this would be the first place i would come to. Well, unfortunately we had to have our baby girl Willow put to sleep yesterday. She was 13 and we had had her since 1999. A large part of my life has gone missing now and we know we will want to replace her in a few weeks. We have another Springer, Tom who is 16 and really misses Willow too, he can't understand what has happened and is confused like us.
We would be interested in rehoming a Springer in the future if you have one needing lots of love and cuddles. We have a safe enclosed garden, no children and access to lovely long walks. We are also both at home all day at the moment although my partner Mick is hoping to get back into work soon.
Please could you let us know if you have someone we vould love

Hello Jackie and Derek, its Chudleigh/Charlie's x owner here, Just wanted to thank you for giving my beautiful boy a good home and loving him as much as I do. Although its been 12 weeks tomorow since I rehomed him there isn't a minute that goes by without me thinking about him, wondering what he is doing and how he is, I still miss him so very much. He is a very sweet dog, one of the best and a joy to live with, I hope you have as much joy living with him as I did. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made, and although it hurts like mad, I know deep down that it was the best for Chudders, but not for me. I look forward to any photo's that you send through and really appreciated the note you left on the guest book. Enjoy your time with Charlie and please keep the photo's coming.

I have been looking through various springer spaniel web pages and was wondering if you have got any spinger spaniels up for re homing from the age of one.
I would appreciate if you could contact me to let me know the outcome of this

Hi Glyn and Wendy
We thought it would be nice to leave a message for Chudleighs previous owners to let them know how he is doing now that he has been with us for a few months. We would like to send a big thank you to Fiona and Tom who looked after him overnight before we collected him on the Bank Holiday Monday. Chudleigh is a very superior dog who has come down in the world to our common domaine so we've shortened his name to Charlie.
Charlie is a real treasure and is already made himself a big part of our family. My Mum Jenny looks after him during the day and loves him LOTS because she lost her springer not too long ago. He has made lots of doggy friends and really likes chasing Lizzie the Rottweiler through the cornfield! But! - he's scared of Bella the little tiny cat! Small cat - big attitude! He enjoyed his holiday with us and had plenty of long walks. He still likes playing with his toys especially his squirrel!
Many thanks to Charlie's other family who were very brave to let us rehome him.
We all love Charlie to bits!
Thanks Wendy for the newsletter - I'll try and write some anecdotes for you!
Kindest regards
Jackie and Derek
